African Hardwood Trade Conference: Reducing Risk, Improving Supply
We’re excited to announce that we are now taking bookings for our African Hardwood Trade Conference on Thursday 31st October at The Building Centre, London.
Africa, particularly West Africa and the Congo Basin region, has been a supplier of quality hardwoods to the UK and Europe for hundreds of years. However, recent years have seen market share drop considerably.
This has been due to a number of factors, not least the increased political, environmental and social risk associated with doing business in Africa.
This one-day conference from the Timber Trade Federation is designed to give a picture of the state of the African timber market, what products are available, what regions are doing well, what the future trends may be, and what solutions are being implemented to reduce business risk and improve quality of supply.
#AHWTC2019 is free to attend for all TTF members and their guests, but registration is essential.
