BMF Timber Forum – Winter 2018 | 27 November 2018 | Nottingham
The BMF’s Winter 2018 Timber Forum will take place at the Green Energy Centre, Nottingham on Tuesday 27th November 2018.
The Forum will cover a range of topics that would be top of most timber directors minds. The event is organised by the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF), in collaboration with the Timber Trade Federation, and is open to both suppliers and merchants.
The forum will be chaired by the BMF Timber Forum Chairman, Norman Evans, Director of FW Morgan.

10.00 – Welcome (Norman Evans, FW Morgan; Forum Chairman) 10:05 – Timber Sales from a Merchant Member perspective (Michael Tomlinson, Manningham Decking and Fencing)
10:45 – Timber Sales from a Supplier Member perspective: (David Webb, Norbord)
11:15 – Break
11:30 – Homegrown softwood timber supplies (David Chapman, BSW)
12:00 – Impact of Brexit on UK timber supply (Dave Hopkins, TTF)
12:30 – Open forum session chaired by the Forum Chairman on timber state of trade/product availability/shortages.
13:00 – Networking lunch followed by a site tour hosted by Dean Monks from John A Stephens
The Forum is a great networking opportunity. The forum is restricted to a maximum of 2 people per organisation, with ideally one of them being a Director or Manager.
