ARTICLE · BY MARRIOTT & CO. · 27 APRIL 2021

Over 350 lots of machinery and stock are up for auction at the Marriott & CO. auction house. The money from the auction will be donated to the Timber Trades Benevolent Society (TTBS).

Northwood Forestry was established in 1985 and for almost 30 years has been highly regarded within the industry for supplying the finest quality timber products.

Having gained a reputation for their extensive knowledge, collectively, the team had well over 200 years of experience in the timber trade. As one of the last remaining fully operational and privately owned sawmills in the South East of England, sited in Pulborough, West Sussex, it is with sadness that the owner and director James Burnford confirmed the company has now ceased trading and has decided to retire.

All of the plant and machinery, vehicles and remaining stock is included within a major online auction run by professional auctioneers Marriott & Co. which closes on 13 May 2021.

There are over 350 lots of machinery and stock included within the sale. Interested parties should email sales@marriottco.co.uk or visit the auction site https://auction.marriottco.co.uk/ for further information, details, photographs and videos of the lots included.
