Make the most of your TTF Membership

Make the most of your TTF Membership

The Timber Trade Federation has been the face of the timber industry since 1893 and we’re delighted to have your company in membership!

We  use our extensive knowledge to put our members at the heart of the UK’s industrial and construction strategy. But, are you making the most of your membership?

We’ve listed our top tips for making the most of your membership.

1. Update your TTF profile

Every branch of your organisation has a profile on the TTF website, searchable by customers on the Find a Member of Product page.

Your TTF website profile includes:

  • Company description
  • Certificates
  • Company logo
  • Header image
  • Product list
  • Company type

Unsure who your dashboard contact is? Email us today.

2. Use the logo

Displaying the TTF Member or RPP Logo can have a significant impact on purchasing decisions. The logos are an instantly recognisable aid that your organisation is trading in #TimberYouCanTrust

We encourage full members to use the TTF and RPP logo (where appropriate) on their website and marketing literature to raise awareness of your responsible sourcing commitments. Please note that associated members are not permitted to use the TTF logo.

3. Attend free TTF events

All TTF conferences are free for members. They focus on a range of product and political topics. We also have a variety of seminars and training sessions available for members.

This is a great chance to ask questions and network with other TTF members.

If you would like to sponsor or speak at any events, please contact Karen Sussex.

4. Subscribe to TTF Newsletters

Keep updated with the latest TTF, member and industry news.

Please get in touch if you’re interest in submitting an article for the newsletter.

5. Login to the TTF website

Request a website login for your employees. They will be able to view member-only, including the monthly and annual stats, divisions papers, and technical guidance.

6. Connect & share with us

Connect with us on social media. Don’t forget to tag us in your posts so we know to share them!

If it’s an upcoming event, project using your timber, or changes in the team, let us know.

5. Join a TTF Regional Association or Committee

TTF members can join any of our six Regional Associations or four Committees.

Use this opportunity to let your voice be heard on local and wider industry issues.

7. Develop your skills through the TTF Academy

The TTF Academy offers industry and business training to help further workplace skills and grow your business. Our most popular courses are the online CPD timber training and the Essential Foundations of Sales Management Programme.

8. Read technical guidance

The TTF Resource Library has a range of member-only content. This includes government and industry data, publications, presentations and technical guidance.

9. Use partner discounts

From legal advice and insurance to hotel accommodation and printing, TTF’s partner discounts can make running your business easier and more cost-effective.
