Obituary: David Graham McDonnell

Obituary: David Graham McDonnell

OBITUARY· By Johnathan Grant · 28 June 2021

It is with great sadness that I have to let you know that David Graham McDonnell passed away on Sunday 27 June with his family at his side, after a long and well fought battle with cancer.

Dave, started with W. Howard in 1996, two years after the business moved into manufacturing MDF Mouldings.

His passion for the company never faltered and throughout those 25 years with us he was instrumental in the substantial growth and success the business has achieved to date.

His passion for the product, but more importantly the people in the industry, was second to none and Dave made many close friends around the country as he travelled the length and breadth of the UK.

He leaves behind his much-loved wife Sally, and children Jamie and Heather. Jamie has been working with us for two years, and so we are delighted that the McDonnell name at W. Howard will continue.

Dave will be sorely missed by me, and I know that will be the case for everyone who knew him.

The family have arranged the funeral and the details are below. In the meantime, any messages of condolence can be sent here to W. Howard or to me jonathan.grant@whoward.co.uk and I will forward them on.

He was a great friend to us all and thank you for your continued support in these difficult times.
